It's been a while since I've been on here. I have profiles on at least four social networking sites and I sometimes lose track.
I thought I'd post some thoughts about eyebrows. I know there are discussion forums, but I get overwhelmed by those because one person says one thing and gets so many replies that it's hard to get back to the original question. I also figured that if anyone cares about what I have to say, they'll take a vested interest in my blog, instead of trying to search for me within discussions.
So I can't remember how much I've talked about eyebrows, but mine are basically gone. I was able to keep them for a couple years by taking 60mg prednisone just once a month. But when my hair started to fall out again this year, the eyebrows and lashes went too, despite my still taking the prednisone. Oh well.
For those of you who don't know what to do without eyebrows, I was kinda lost too. When I was home for Thanksgiving break, my mom came back from grocery shopping and had bought me an eyebrow pencil. I was really nervous to try it because I had seen things like this go wrong. But I tried it, and it was surprisingly easy to make it look like real eyebrows! I would highly recommend getting one. It was $7, which is pricey, but my friends couldn't even tell they were drawn on! It's kinda fun, too.
So those of you with eyebrow anxiety, fear no more!
My daughter had her's tattood and it helped so much. They come and go and never fill in all of the way but the tattoos make it less noticable and she does not have to think about it.
My eyebrows left me - again - during the last month. Then the eyelashes. For a guy surely a different thing. Strangely enough, nobody commented on my hairless eye-area. For my bald head I was called glitter ball. Whether it's a compliment, I don't know. At least these things are something special for special times, haha.
Maybeline, I think. I'm totally NOT a makeup person, but you should try it sometime when you have time and don't have anywhere to be.
