Is it okay to use hair oil while having AA?
My doc says its fine but my dad's doc had told him during his bout of AA not to use hair oil coz it prevents new hair from sprouting.. any ideas?

what kind of oil are you thinking about? I suggest 5% Minoxidil. It's not an oil but I believe it's a good start.

I heard using oil can clog the pores and it's not a perfect solution for people with hair loss...Maybe if you use only a little bit ant wash it off after an hour or smth it's good, because it's softens and feeds the skin:)

Just don't use mineral oil (petro-chemical). It's like covering your skin in plastic. Jojoba oil, which is actually a wax, is the closest to our sebum. Alternatives, are almond, coconut, shea, olive or sesame. A little goes a long way.
