I have come to learn that hairspray and wigs don't really mix. I have a gorgoes human hair wig that looks great after washed for only a few days because I feel the need to load it to the max with hairspray. I don't know if I find myself doing this out of habit from when I used to style my own hair or from fear that it will lose its' shape and somehow reveal that it's a wig. I have a wig salon wash and style it. They do a beautiful job. They told me I should only have to come it every two weeks at the most (that some people come in once a month). Well, I have been going in at least once a week. I use the hairspray that they recommend and my hair still gets helmet head and dry looking after only a few days. I mean this thing goes from silkly smooth pantene commercial looking hair to broom stick in like two to three days...

My question:
Is there some magic product to use on human hair wigs that will set the style and not dry it out so fast? I heard that syn wig detanger works? Does anyone know about that?
