I am almost at the point where there is nothing left on my head, and my eybrows are starting to go as well. I know that this disease is unpredictable and no-one can tell me what will happen. I guess I am just looking for someone to tell me that they had regrowth even after AT/AU???? I know that I should learn to accept this and be okay with it...I am just not there yet.

Hi Kathleen! I had AU 2 years ago. Doctor told me it could be related to stress. I took injections but the hair that grows back don't last long. After several attempts, I gave up everything and accepted it. And hey presto, my hair grows back but not my eyebrow. Hopefully it will last. There is always hop :)

Hey Kathleen! I was at that point last year, where I had just a few hairs left in the center of my head, and my right eyebrow was starting to go. Those last few hairs fell out, but I took vitamins, worked out, went out and had as much fun as I could, and I think most importantly, I told myself that I wouldn't let this happen to me. I wouldn't allow my eyebrow to fall out. And what do you know, my eyebrow has completely grown back in and has stayed that way, perfect as it ever was, within about 4-5 months! I think one of the most difficult parts of this disease is that the progress you get never moves as quickly as you'd like it, so as my eyebrow grew in I was anxious about it because it took so long. But not only has my eyebrow come back but I now have about 5-7 patches of hair growing in on my scalp, and it gets fuzzier every day. Take a deep breath, tell yourself that you are strong and beautiful, and do whatever makes you happy!

I was au for a few years then every hair on my body grew back! It stayed for another few years then slowly all fell out again...I have since regrown pubic hair [yay] a little head hair and whispy eyelashes and a few eyebrow hairs. Whether it will all regrow? Hey I'm not counting on it anytime soon. I've had my eyeline & eyebrows tatooed and with a wig on no-one can tell I'm practically hairless. I get you could say I've adapted to what is rather than keep wishing on what could be. All the best Kathleen, you may or may not have regrowth but either way love yourself as you are.

Hang in there Kathleen.
I know someone who regrew everything. It can happen to you too.
I hope you are feeling better. Know that we are all here for each other for support.
