I bought my 1st wig

I am still wearing extensions. The alopecia has spred to the front of my head right above my ears. So even the extensions, if I tilt my head don't cover that well anymore. I found a wig online for $40.00. It is fake hair of course, but I wanted to try one our before I spent a lot of money. I wore it a couple times with a hat. I think it looks like a wig with no hat, but what can I expect for $40.00!? I really wanted it for camping, or the river with a hat, so I don't mess up my extensions! I don't know how much longer those will work? If it gets much worse, they'll be no good to me! They make me feel so much more confident. The wig is cute too, My husband wants me to get a short red one too. (I wonder why ;)) I think the part that makes wigs work is feeling good about yourself. I would rather walk with a wig and a hat than what I call "my hair" and a hat. It looks so awful, I'm holding on to nothing good here! lol
So my husband was making fun of me, that I'm "orange county'd" out now. I have fake hair, fake lashes, and fake brows! Now I just need 1 more fake thing, and I'll be set!!! LOL

I have AU, so I have fake hair as well. I just purchased my first lace wig (which is 100% better than a regular wig) & had it applied last Friday. You should try one of those and you can get a customized short red one too. I am trying to do the fake eyebrows & fake eyelashes. I tried the fake eyelashes two weeks ago and I got the glue all in my eyes....lol. I am going to the salon to have someone place them on for me. Right now I draw my eyebrows on and I was thinking about getting them tattooed on. Can you tell me your experience of getting your eyebrows done? Once I have the eyebrows and lashes, we will be all faked out together....lol :-)

I never wore this wig! Never buy a cheap sythentic wig. It looked so fake and the bangs were HORRIBLE! I need to still get a nice real wig
