I ordered my wig!!! I had my consultation a month ago, and finally called her yesterday to order it. It should be here in 6-8 weeks. It was $1000.00 so it should be a nice one!! Am I the only one who gets compliments on wearing hats all the time. Whenever I take my daughter to school, or go somewhere before I do my workout and shower. I just throw on a hat. I looks like ugly strands of hair underneath a hat. I look in the mirror and want to BREAK it. I hate hate hate wearing hats. I have to wear them at the river, camping, when its windy. Then...... Haven't been on here in a long while! I will try to come on here as much as possible. I met a new friend that lives close to me. She is married to a friend I went to school with. She has totalis. She connected me to someone who makes wigs custom. So I am going to make an appointment with her, and check out wigs. My extensions are very hard to hide now. Still have hair on the top of my head, but its bald all the way to the 2 skull bones on the top of your head.

I put a new picture of myself up! I'm the one on the left! It is with my eyebrows healed completly now, they faded a lot! I have the fake lashes, and my extensions! I am still wearing extensions. The alopecia has spred to the front of my head right above my ears. So even the extensions, if I tilt my head don't cover that well anymore. I found a wig online for $40.00. It is fake hair of course, but I wanted to try one our before I spent a lot of money. I wore it a couple times with a hat. I finally got them!!! It was so nerve racking! The following day, every time I looked in the mirrior all I saw was EYEBROWS, HELLO!!!!!! I cried all day. I hated them! Then yesterday, I started to get used to them a little more and I definetly fell better now. They are a big scab right now, so they are still too dark. I haven't had that much time to come on here lately, so I thought I would touch base with what is going on.

1) my hair is still getting worse, but the extensions are still working fine. I have about 20 hairs left right behing my ear and as soon as thoses are gone, then I will be bald from 2 inches above my ear and down. That is ridiculous!

2) My eyebrows are worse, but I still haven't done the tattoo. I found someone else to doit, I'm just waitingfor some money. I hate credit card… Continue

I don't know why a bunch of clip on extensions make me feel more confident than I have in a good 5 years. 5 years ago I was pregnant with my 1st daughter. 30-35 LBS. can make someone feel ugly. Then lost some hair, got pregnant again, lost some more hair ,got pregnant again, lost some more hair. This is the longest I have gone without being pregnant. I was diagnosed with AA when I was 5.
