I love the feeling of being bald, and being free to be different. Kids in my high school still stare but are getting use to my change. I like that attention, im alittle nobody so its alittle bit nice.
But I see girls doing a lot of things with their hair, stuff i never could do before, or can't do now (obbiously). I get so jealous.
This whole i shaved my head but im also losing it deal has its ups and downs. I'm having mixed feelings. :/ oooh boy..
I missed the salon experience...so, I used the wig salon and nail salon to make up for it. I like surprising people with wig, head or hat changes...isn't the surprise factor key in the teen world? When no one knows what you will do next? Surprise them with seasonal or blingy tiara bands, mistletoe wreaths (kisses!), cool winter caps and hats, or head art. You can have even more surprises weekly than them! Pick the coolest art idea from friends (make a daily contest) and bring face paints for one design a day either with school permission or after school. You will be remembered! Maybe even photographed!
I understand what you are saying Alex. I see articles in magazines about new trends in hair styles, and I miss not be able to try those trends. I miss the salon experience too. Wigs and hats are fun! There are lots of things you can try instead. Those are great ideas Tallgirl!
I do but don't want to get a wig. they kinda freak me out. but i am looking at some now and found some i really like and for a good price, but my dad says no, it must be a bad wig. but i dont think so. :/ but i might just get it anyways haha. thank you for the ideas:)
Tell dad to see Breeze by Raquel Welch. That is what my blond, rooted one is. Good coverage.
