One of my best alopecia friend from AW passed away in July. A friend of hers told me that today.

Hi Sue. Im fine thanks. I was worried about not hearing from her in a couple of months. And today one of her friends at Facebook told me she passed away in July. I never met her in real life but we talked a lot here at Alopecia World.

Hope youre ok over there. We missed you in Houston this summer =)

I was deeply saddened to hear that Brandy passed. My thoughts and prayers are with her husband, children, family and friends.

Brandy Wright

POSTED: July 10, 2009

LORETTO - Brandy Lynn Wright, 31, of Loretto, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Dec. 8, 1977, to Donald and Perrie (Pavlat) VanPembrook. Brandy was a lifelong resident of this area and graduated from Kingsford High School in 1996.

She married Brandon Wright on Sept. 1, 2007, in Aurora, Wis. Brandy was a nature lover and enjoyed the outdoors. She spent lots of time kayaking and taking photos from the water. Many of her pictures were truly exceptional and looked as though they were taken by a professional. She also enjoyed many motorcycle rides with her husband.

Brandy loved camping, cooking, and spending time with family. Her husband and children were the center of her life. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Brandon; two children, Kassidy and Ethan Dagenaer; her parents, Donald A. and Perrie VanPembrook of Aurora; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerald L. and Kim (Gendron) Wright of Vulcan; paternal grandmother, Yvonne VanPembrook of Aurora; maternal grandfather, Alan E. "Jack" Pavlat of Kingsford; Brandon's grandparents, Gerald and Bev Wright of Iron Mountain and Joanne Gendron of Norway; sister-in-law, Angel (Ron) Johnston of Kingsford and brother-in-law, Richard (Katie) Wright of Vulcan; three nieces, Danna, Isabel and Emma.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in by her paternal grandfather, Donald G. VanPembrook and maternal grandmother, Frances Pavlat.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. David Anderson will officiate.

Burial will be in the Norway Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her memory.

The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash funeral home with the funeral arrangements.
