You make a great princess! Please take some photos when you take the tiara public and share them with everyone here. I think your lighthearted spirit would make your plan possible. The trick is to pleasantly surprise and educate people. Of course, you don't want to make a scene that makes people feel awkward or uncomfortable, but rather do something to show them both that you are confident and beautiful, and to teach them more about hair loss and how people like you can adapt. I like to think about you going to a grocery store, no bandana just a tiara, and just casually walking through the checkout line like a princess. How cute!

Mackenzie YES YOU ARE A PRINCESS! I don't know about the card I idea everything else I love. Be mentally prepared for negative comments but I am sure their will be other wonderful supportive people and they will far out way the critics.

One of the stores I like to go shopping in has a sales clerk that always calles me Princess when she sees me. It all started when I started wearing scarves and actually purchased one in their store. When I wore it in the next time I shopped there she commented on my scarf. I told here I purchased it there and that I have alopecia......ever since then she calls me Princess :-))))) Of course usually other people hear and sometimes they comment, in a good way. It makes me feel good about being open about my alopecia although I have not done the bald look yet.
