Is there a bald woman on the new show, The Voice?
I happened to see a commercial for the new singing competition show, The Voice. I watched it several times on my DVR because part of the way through it, they show what appears to be a bald or shaven-headed woman contestant. On the official website for the show, they have a trailer and at 0:24 in the trailer, there's a quick shot of the woman. The show premiers April 26 on NBC. The "twist" is apparently that the judges/mentors don't see the contestants before judging their vocal talent.

Yes...I've never watched American Idol or other music competition shows, but this sounds interesting. And, I take any opportunity to see a bald woman on TV who isn't portraying a character who has cancer!

Mary I thought I saw the same thing when they showed a commercial. I guess we'll have to watch although I'm not fond of those music-competition type shows; its all bunk.

I've never watched a single episode of any of these shows. When my friends start talking about what's happening on American Idol, I feel like I'm from another planet!

There were two bald women on that show. One of them is left in the final four. They are excellent singers and beautiful. They don't have alopecia, they shave their heads for fashion reasons.
