Many of you have seen regrowth, this is my son's head (close up). He has these small hair on his scalp now, which are much thinner but still black in color. He never had the white peach fuzz that I expected. I am not sure if this is something positive? Please help me decide what to make of it.

It looks like regrowth to me.

Hair is sprouting that's for sure. Normally, there are 3-5 hairs that grow from the follicle. It looks like all singles at this point. Great closeup!
Hears hoping for more growth!

I am taking pictures every week, so I will sure be posting more pictures of the progress. Now hoping that these little hair actually get thicker enough to show. Thanks for reassurance!

I have heard the shaving the head causes the hair to come out thicker, but wasnt sure if there was any truth to that.

As they say...The only predictable thing about alopecia is its unpredictability.
