Cortisone shots worked well on me for 16 years but it doesn't work for others. The only way to tell for sure is to try it through time. Try it and see what happens. Try not to get too stressed out though...I know it's hard but it is only hair. Life is too precious to worry too much. Cheers!

I hope they work for you hun.
I had up to 80 shots every three weeks. It did not help me. But everyone is different.
The sad thing is I am now allergic to latex from the latex powdered gloves they once used. I even have to carry a EPI Pen. Things have changed over the years and each doctor is different. Just be careful and read up on any treatment. Infact her treatments put me in the hospital for 7 days and I almost died. That was 18 years ago. It was a cream called Drethascalp.(Spelling?)I use Web Md for many of my medical questions. I call my pharmacy and talk about each new med they give me now. I just started trusting doctors again.
I am sorry if this sounds bad. I just want you to be healthy and not scare you. Just telling you what happen to me and do not want it to happen to others.
So if your in question, I think your doing the best thing by asking others. So you know there are some risk with any treatment.
