I really would like to dye my hair to get rid of my grays. The last time i dyed it was about a year ago. Since then my hair worsened and then repaired itself for the most part as far as my alopecia is concerned, but I don't want to hurt the progress with harmful dyes. Any suggestions?
P.S. I'm sorry if I sound vain, but I hate the gray! I know I can't be the only one who thinks this way, right?
yes please be careful!! 20 yrs ago I lost the hair I took 10 years of treatment to grow back using a dark n lovely hair dye kit from the drug store...please try to find a professional to dye ur hair if you can afford it. Is there a whole foods or health food store in ur area? often they now have natural hair dyes and u could do a "patch test" just to be sure...hope this helps...happy 2016.
@Mariah Yes I have. Why do you ask?
I got it done at a solon. My hairdresser is very aware of my condition and mixed the dye himself. He uses very little chemical. I'm very happy with the outcome. I currently do not have any spots at the moment and tons of new growth. I believe this has a lot to do with the fact that I quit smoking. My opinion is that some alopecia can be very related to the amount of toxins you put in your body.
& u are lookin good kid :) SHAR ALEXIS
