Mohawk!

Hello! I have alopecia areata and right now what's left of my hair is a sort of mohawk!
I am curious though, have any other alopecians experienced hair loss like me? It started around my ears and gradually progressed upwards and around the back.

My hairloss started as a single spot on top of my head. Then it turned into several spots and ended up falling out one spot to the next, like it was snaking around my head. Thats when I just decided a bald head would look a lot better than what I had going on.

It's what i have - ophasis is correct.It sucks. Apparently the recovery rate is REALLY slim. I have a tiny "island" of hair on the top of my head but that is it :( good luck. xx

hi amy! that was exactly what happened to me and i ended up with a mohawk for a while which i thought was pretty cool!
