Since the options (to life) are not great, then you have nothing to lose in being wild and wacky or sophisticated or punk or hippy or ethnic with your head choices. Go for a new you...your alter ego! You might find a you that you don't have to swear about!

Hi Katie I have had AA for about 5 months now and have been wearing wigs, freinds gave me some but they didn't fit right so I went on line to Paula Young and they sent me a book . It tells you how to measure and I ordered a wig and I love it it fits and it is lightweight and not hot and I live in Arizona. I liked it so well I ordered another one in a diferent style and color. And best of all they were only 54 dollars .Ann

Hi Katie. I see so much of my own story in yours. Where I'm not losing hair I'm getting whispy gray ones. I finally got pretty good at covering the spots on the top and shellacking everything in place with hair spray, only to find that I've got some large spots on the back of my head that are almost impossible to cover with my thinning hair. Hang in there - life doesn't really suck (but maybe alopecia does).
