MTOR Activation = TH17 activation and suppression of Treg cells and FoxP3 = autoimmunity

I've used NAC for three months now and hair began to regrow...I will keep you posted over the months

synopsis for the above...every auto immune disease has a microbial connection

In the skin, however, the mTOR-dependent persistent proliferation of epithelial cells within the HF in response to Wnt1, or the direct activation of mTOR in HF stem cells, may result in the exhaustion of the HF stem cells compartment. In this scenario, excessive proliferation and activation of mTOR in stem cells may increase their turnover, prematurely exhausting the ability of these stem cells to repopulate the hair follicle. Consistent with this, pharmacological inhibition of mTOR with rapamycin was sufficient to prevent stem cell ablation upon Wnt1 expression, as reflected the maintenance of the population of CD34+ bulge stem cells. mTOR inhibition also impaired the acquisition of a premature senescence phenotype caused by Wnt1 expression in mice and by the exposure of CD34+ cells to Wnt, thus raising the possibility that mTOR may contribute to OIS when triggered by the aberrant activity of other oncogenes, an area that will warrant further investigation.

NAC is key to MTOR deactivation so the stem cells can repopulate the hair follicle

good article on increasing Treg cells

quote from the article

However, I’ve done well on NAC and most clients report positive results.

In addition, many benefits have been report in a clinical trial: NAC increased mitochondrial membrane potential in all T cells, profoundly reduced mTOR activity, enhanced apoptosis, reversed expansion of CD4−CD8− T cells, stimulated FoxP3 expression in CD4+CD25+ T cells, and reduced anti-DNA production. (R)  Increased mitochondrial membrane potential leads to destruction of activated T cells. (R)

I think what might be happening here is NAC may briefly decrease the induction of tolerance for a couple of hours.  Since it’s brief, it’s not an issue.  Otherwise, NAC may behave differently when people ingest it.  Whatever the case, I think the benefits outweigh this potential negative."

Do you know if NAC and Berberine can be take with another biologic JAK3 inhibitor? For example, Xeljanz - the same medication the guy took to treat his psoriasis and his hair grew back. I'm wondering if there is any contraindication for taking all three.

continuing to make progress Mike? Pictures?

NAC is a glutathione precursor so it would actually recycle drugs out of the body faster so I would not suggest pairing it with Xeljanz. Picture's are coming....be patient. All I can say...it's the most hair growth on different parts of the body that I've experienced since getting AU 20 years ago
