Hi everyone! ....so this is my first blog, so I apologise if it's a little off!
So, I just wanted to share my little experience... I don't know if anyone else knows the group Celtic Thunder, but I'm really obsessed with them! They're a group of five solo singers from Ireland and Scotland. I promise all of you, I'm going to marry the 16 year old, Damian McGinty. He hugged me twice! ...But that's off topic.. Anyway, there's a guy in the group named Paul Byrom. I emailed him and told him about Alopecia, and how his music has helped me. I also mentioned (because he sings 'You Raise Me Up') that I sang that song at my aunt's funeral, and how much that song means to me. Anyway, he emailed me back this long, multi-paragraph email. It was absolutely beautiful! So I wanted to share some of the letter with all of you:

You're going through a hard time at the moment but all will improve and hair or no hair, people will see the beauty you posses, If they don't.....let them go jump!

So there's the part concerning Alopecia! Isn't that incredible? So, guess what! I met him before a Celtic Thunder concert, and he remembered my email! He said, "It's lovely to finally meet you in person!" I got pictures with him, and he signed my email! Guess what? In the concert, he saw me in the audience, and after singing 'You Raise Me Up', he pointed right at me twice, as if to say, "That was for you." By then, I was crying. It was the most incredible thing that has ever happened../
I just thought I'd share that with all of you!
