Hi again everyone. Well my hair is still falling out but has slowed down 'heaps'. Patches of stubble are now going smooth and still no real sign of growth. Oh well, I'm getting quite use to wearing my hat and strangely no one has asked why. I've never been a hat person before, hot and sweaty things they are.

I've finaly let my father in law loose on my head with his Enar (Enero Nuro Adaptive Regulation) machine. It's a wee Russian (no drugs) invention devised as a 'repeatable therapeutic treatment using electrical signals to stimulate the immune system' quote from Ellen Hodgson Brown, (JD).

This little device resolved all my daughters knee pain with only two sessions (had prior been needing regualr physio). While we don't know if it will work with alopecia, we've decided it's worth a go. Apparently it sends messages to the brain to let it know there is a problem in the area and that the body needs to react. It doesn't really hurt, just feels a bit prickly, but what's a little shock therapy between friends aye. Our hope is that it will stimulate the immune system into balance - worse case, my hair will fall out faster (not happening yet). So I will keep you all informed and if any one has every tried this cause of treatment I'd love your feed back.

On a side note, hubby has developed bald patches in his facial hair - he says his body is doing it in sypathy for mine, although now we wonder could it be environmental in any way, stay tunned.

My husband lost some of his facial hair in spots too. My daughter has AA and so my husband has lost occasional patches, but nothing like my daughter.
