New Growth!

Okay, my hairloss was about 80-90% due to my Lupus. I have now been on Plaquinel since Nov 23 and a Biotin/Fish Oil regimen since Nov 1. The first picture shows the peak of my loss before I noticed that I didn't seem to be losing and the second picture is today. Just Friday I thought I saw 1/2" hairs among the 2-3" hairs. My mother looked and sure enough she saw a lot. So I got the rest of my hair shorn to 1" to even it out. I tried to duplicate the exact lighting so it shows the same but you will see it is decidedly thicker!

Andrea ..great news i also lost 70 to 8o per cent and now have thicker hair than i started with the occasional hole this is it it on its way.xx

Thanks everyone. For me the return of the hair is indication that we are on the right track with my health. I've been through the ringer getting a diagnosis. The top pic was taking on Dec 17, so I was only on half my treatment plan for about 3 weeks when I noticed the cessation of loss and it must have turned around that very day, given that the new growth is about 1/2 an inch long! I haven't been praying for my hair, because in the scheme of everything it was small potatoes, but a friend was really concerned about it and so she focused on it! Another friend was ready to go get her hair cut for me! I won't let her because I think there are other people who need it more, but the thought was so touching!
