Hi Everyone,
It's been a busy couple weeks and I haven't been on AW in a while. But I thought I'd share a few pictures of the "new me" wearing my wig. We visited some friends this weekend whom we haven't seen since before my daughter was born and they didn't even notice anything different. (of course he's a guy, with sons, LOL)
But I got through the weekend being outdoors quite a bit and even did some canoeing. I am SO happy with my wig, but now I am getting excited, almost anxious, to get different styles, other colours... ooOOOoooOoo I might be developing a wig addiction... haha!
I am wearing it everyday and feeling such a boost in my confidence and willingness to go out in public. I actually feel I might finally be ready to lose some weight too!! Then I will REALLY be a new woman ;)
I am more seriously considering shaving my head now too. I love my wig so much, I can't see that I will ever go out in public with my bio hair again. hmm

That's really great that things are working out well for you! Your pictures look fabulous. Glad to see you having so much fun with your new hair and exploring all of the great possibilities. Thanks for sharing your joy!

Hi Tawny, I agree with Rose Marie, when you find your way to deal with alopecia that works for you, it is easier to get on with living. "Bio-hair" I love it! I think I will use that term too ;).
