Definitely losing quite a bit of hair again. I knew it was coming out as I've been picking it off my clothes etc and feeling that I might be exposing naked scalp during the day but looking at the pictures I posted a few months back, I can see how much I have been losing. Eek - I hope it slows down soon because I haven't got myself sorted for a new prescription yet and I don't want to hit the Christmas party season with a whole load of hair missing and wigs that are a bit passed their best.
Off to phone the dermatologists now!

I think the worst is seeing my hair everywhere! It's in the bathroom, on the pillow, on my clothes...in my food!!! If I'm going to lose it all, I just wish it would go in one snap! In the last 2 months I've probably lost over 50% of it. I had more hair when I was 3!

Shedding, shedding, and more shedding. I know the drill all too well. Sorry to hear that you're going through it again too. I've been told by a few folks on this site that this is the season where even normal (i.e. non-alopecia) shedding happens more than usual. I hope that's the case for both of us. Hang in there Erica.

Thanks John and Andrea. I hope it is normal for this time of year - it's really depressing when it's short hairs I'm seeing all over the bath because that's all the regrowth from the past year coming back out!
It doesn't seem as bad as two years ago but I guess that's because I don't have as much to lose this time around.

Sympathising with you Andrea - two years ago, this time of year, I began to lose around 50% of my hair. It was everywhere, much more so than this time around. It was woven into my socks, my boyfriend was finding it in his underwear drawer, my washing machine was getting clogged up with it. I'd do an hour at work and then look down to the floor and there would be loads lying under the desk. Fingers crossed for you that it eases up soon or as you said, even just comes out in a oner!
