Got my new wig today and excited about wearing it. I know that co workers will be like ...OK, but heck with it LOL ! There is also a guy in the office I had a romantic interest in, but if he can't deal with it and this makes me lose a chance with him oh well ! Sometimes in life we have to make the most of a situation we can. When I was in my 20's and had hair I often had a difficult time styling it and caring for it. Now that I wear wigs I don't have to worry as much about that and I can easily change my look, and if I don't like it change again.

Amen to that! If you like it that's all that matters! Wigs and weaves are much easier than natural hair. And if your co-worker can't handle it, it's his lost!! Good luck

I've always been a little jealous of my darker complected sisters when it comes to wearing wig. Seems it is more accepted and no one makes a big deal when black girls change their hair often and assume it is just for style. But as a white chick (my son loves that term)I didn't see white girls wearing wigs or even young women--only old white ladies. And when I changed wigs people would notice and question why I was wearing one. I LOVE some of the ethic wigs out there. Would love one of those cornrow or braided wigs but the colors they come in are too dark for my pale complexion. And the choice of cute stylish wigs at cheaper costs are great. I have a really hard time finding white girl hair wigs that I really like. Another reason to start wearing hats and scarves more. You look cute CHellie And your smile would make any wig look great on you. Love the joy you radiate.
