It's been a while since we blogged last, so I thought that I'd give a bit of an update.

Nathan is still progessing really well. I thought that perhaps we'd hit a point and it would all catch up with him, but for now at least that doesn't seem to be the case.

Most of the time he just doesn't bother about hat or bandana, and at Christmas, he actually asked for me to come in cause he wanted to show his cousins and I think needed the reassurance in case they asked questions. What I'm finding though, is that it's the adults and parents that seem to get all "thingy' about it, and be all sympathetic whereas the kids seem to be pretty accepting.

However, he is still losing hair, it's his fringe that's gonng now, and the top has all gone, except for one patch in the middle. He held that up the other day, and said "Look a tower surrounded by a moat." Very Nathan.

He also got a messenger satchel for Christmas that says "Alopecia Areata. Look it up." and that in itself is opening up doors because, contrary to what it says, it actually seems to make people actually ask more questions about it. Go figure.

But, while he's still losing in some areas, we have noticed white regrowth starting in some of the older patches, which is promising, but we're taking each day as it comes, and seeing what happens. All the while reminding ourselves that this is a most pecuiar thing, and you never know what it's going to do next.

I should reallly get him still soon for some pictures and a proper update.
