off with my hair - finally....

hi, my new friends here...
after several months, nearly one-and-a-half
years of suffering from loosing my hair at the
middle-upper-back-part of my head, with
more hair dropping on the floor, continuously,
i dedided, finally, to have my head shaved..
now, after i did it (not me, a friend of mine
did it, instead of celebrating "helloween" together..),
no-one would notice, i had suffered from hair-loss..
it´s a drastic change - but, at the moment, i think,
i do feel better without my hair..
how do you like it? can you understand my decision?

Hi Hannah, I think that you look wonderful! I had to make the same decision several months ago. It was just my way of, sort of, taking control of my alopecia. I'm so glad that I did. Few people outside of Alopecia World understand the choices we with this medical condition have to make. You go for it girl! Be empowered and beautiful!

Good decision. Best I made so far it's really practical and people can't even remember me with hair. Take care.

Hi sweety, yes i can well uderstand it, and doesnt it feel good, i did te same just a couple of weeks ago, its growing back fast (fuzz)lol so i will shave it again soon, do you have a wig??, i got one 3 weeks ago, and it looks good, though i love it when idont have it on at all around the house, it feels so good and so cool, your a pretty young girl with or without so you be proud of yourself and do what YOU want to do with regards to your hair, not what others think or want. xxx

I think it looks great and I totally understand! Thinking of it myself soon. I have had telogen effluvium for the better part of a year and it sucks!!
