Today, my son got off the bus crying, and very upset. He said that his sister was on the bus and that her hat fell off when she stood up. His friends began asking what is wrong with your sister, and I guess that he didn't know what to say or do. I never thought about how he was going to deal with his sister having alopecia, I was just worried about her. After talking to him and trying to console hime without crying myself, I think he felt better. I guess that we are going to have some really bad days as well as the good. I never thought that this would be that hard for him, since Amelia is the one lossing her hair. She is so great about it, and she finally asked if we could get a wig. I hope that we will be able to atend the Alopeciapalooza, and he will go too.

; ( aww It can be tough on him too. It was really hard on my older brother when it happened to me...sometimes...harder I think. He wanted to fly me to Germany for Stem Cell research haha. I said no...it prolly won't work. It's tough when there is nothing that you can really do, just listen ; )
