I thought that it was about time that I posted another blog. I haven't blogged in a while, mainly due to feeling so low about my hairloss that I didn't want to post another negative one.
Everything is still far from rosy, but I thought that I'd try to post a positive blog focussing on the regrowth that I am having in my original spots.
It's quite hard to get decent pics but I took some today which turned out ok, not brilliant but ok.
The first one is the patch near my crown on the top right of my head. It appeared in early June of this year. Virtually the whole area is now covered in hair but it's a mixture of fine white and dark brown regrowth. The dark regrowth seems to be spreading which pleases me greatly. This spot bothers me the most and I have to spend ages each morning covering it up.
The next patch is on the top left hand side of my head and has mainly dark brown regrowth, with a little bit of white.
This patch was really difficult to photograph. This is the very first patch which appeared behind my right ear in January of this year. It is now completely covered by fine white hair about 1cm in length - the photo doesn't really do it justice. It is really frustrating that it's not darkening up yet but I live in hope, and take some comfort that the hair follicles are working, at least.
Anyway, it's nice to post something positive.
AA has been a real challenge for me to deal with, and I really struggle with it at times. Thanks to all the people who have offered their support. This website has been a godsend, and I have met some really special people on here. Here's hoping that there's much more positive posts to come from all of us.
Have a great weekend everyone.
