Shocked! Wow! Holy cow!

So I have NO idea what happened, but my patchy barely there hair that I shaved off, has grown in so think and I have only 1 bald spot! Every morning I wake up with bed head and have to wet it to make it stay down, and it feels AMAZING that I have to do that. I am still missing the tail-end of my left eyebrow, but I don't even care about it! I have HAIR, I have A LOT of hair!! I haven't gone to the dermatologist, I haven't done anything. I know there is still that chance that it will fall out again, but for now, I'm just HAPPY! The last time I shaved my head was Halloween morning, and these pictures I'm attaching are from this morning, 01/07/11.

congrats as well. I know the feeling of regrowth. Mine grew back and lasted about one year then the bald spots started to come back again

I am SOOO happy for you! It looks so great. What did you do to make it grow back??? It looks amazing but I must say that I think you are gorgeous with no hair as well!

It's a cruel disease isn't it, coming a going as it pleases. I hope for your sake it's gone and never returns but you do ROCK the bald look so either way you'll be simply gorgeous!

Yeah I'm pretty shocked, it was so patchy and thin when I shaved it off, now its like nothing was ever wrong. I just hope it keeps growing, but if not, at least I know I can rock the bald look ;)

Thanks everyone! I think my alopecia started when I was 16, but it never amounted to much more than a few bald spots here and there. Then last summer it got really bad and I shaved on 9-02-10. Then it was just a lot of bad bald spots everywhere and the last time I shaved it was on Halloween and I got lazy for a few days and saw it started growing back in the bald spots, and now I have hair! I have like 2 bald spots right now, but there really small.
