I am a bit of a cynic when it comes to taking pills to find a cure. I know there are a number of things out there that claim to 'regrow' hair. Although I have not wasted my money on these products and never will (I don't suggest anyone else does either) I did get thinking about just taking normal vitamins.

I was told once in hospital to take Vitamin Bs, Zinc tablets and Haribo sweets! I went out to get the suggested pills and tried to take them but never really committed to them.

I have a bad mental attitude of if I don't see results then whats the point. I have also happily accepted that my hair is gone forever.. So I never really took them for long.

But I was looking at my nails and how poor they had become, so ridgy, pealing etc and looked at getting something at least to try and improve them. I had also remembered about 'biotin' that I had seen mentioned on this site. So I made my way to the chemist and got myself a tub of 30 Hair Skin and Nails combined vitamins. This had the Vitamin B, the Zinc and the biotin, thought may as well give it a go.

It has been near two weeks and I am sure my nails are at least growing, or so they seem to be anyhow. I have taken this as a good sign and well I got myself another packed of 30 and will see how they go. If they improve more I will post again... If I don't post again i was a new fad I have gave up with.

It'll be interesting to know how it goes for you...I tried various B vitamins and Biotin, probably gave them 6 months but no improvement for me. I'm like you - if I don't see results I don't keep doing it.
