I know I know I haven't been around a lot lately ... I'm going to make an honest effort to try harder in 2009. I'm SO SO excited for this new year - I feel energized. Plus I'm ready to reveal my exciting stuff.... *drum roll*. I have convinced my husband to really dedicate to weight loss *claps*. In fact we've even started a youtube channel that will track our progress. I'm thrilled that he's agreed to this, because making a public announcement of your goals is proven to increase success rate. Even better having an audience will provide support yeah! A couple of our friends are in on it too and we've decided to use aliases. Well I just followed suit really, so I picked Riot, cute huh?

I'm not sure how many, if any of you, know about my hubby so here's the gist: He's gained a lot of weight very quickly and subsequently is hypertensive with high cholesterol and pre-diabetic at twenty-five. He also suffered TIA two weeks ago related to all this. So it's very important to me and my family that he make the changes that will save his life.The channel isn't only dedicated to this new years resolution though. We hope to do just fun stuff - regular vlogging - maybe some skits you know.
Well now that I've gotten that off of my chest TELL ME ... WHAT IS YOUR NEW YEARS RESOLUTION? Also do you have a plan to stick to it? I always fail, but this year I think with the four of us behind the channel for support and any audience we get we can do it! (Hubby is skeptical I think - in his video he says something like "so we'll see how long this last" LOL!!)
