Thanks to everyone who is helping me find a new scarf. I have looked at these and it is a hard decision. I want it to be perfect, I wanted to wear it to my winter formal, but cannot seem able to find one that goes with a long dress. My dress is green and blue with lots of sparkle. However; I have found lots of new scarfs to wear to school everyday. Thanks again to everyone for their help.

I would take a sample of your dress fabric to a fabric store and find something that complements it and buy a 1/2 yard of it and cut it to the size of a scarf you like. If you can sew, you just need to roll the edge, if you don't sew they make some stuff you can get called fray-check to seal the edge so it won't unravel. If the fabric's too rough and needed to be lined you could get someone to line it.

The prettiest scarves I've seen for a formal wear are at 4women.com, especially the pretty silk ones, but I know when you're matching a formal dress, it can be pretty hard.
