The new routine
It's been a while since I've been to AW, but I recently decided to open my own photography studio. Things with that are going great, already had our first shoot.
Since my last post, however, I have developed a new technique to shaving my head, which has dropped the time considerably. And this time, it's done all in the shower. This by no means is a guide, just how I preform the shave... Maybe it will help you maybe it won't. Either way, good luck shaving your head.
I run a nice warm shower and let the water run over my head for a bit. I grab my razor and make a smooth long stroke against the grain on the top of my head. Using just the sound of the razor running over the hair and the feel of my hand agains my head I shave my entire head. Doing it this way I can be in and out of the shower in less than 5 minuets. I use no shaving cream or gel. I let the water lubricate the blade. After my head is shaved I loofa the scalp real quick to remove any dead or dry skin and hop out.
Using this routine I only have to put on aloe on my head if I cut myself. And I only cut myself if while shaving, my fiancé barges in and startles me.

I'm glad to hear your routine is working for you.
My routine was always to use an electric razor after a shower. I never cut myself like I did with a blade.

I can't do the electric razor. It doesn't make the cut smooth enough. Has to be the blade and against the grain. The moment the hair protrudes past the skin on my scalp I must shave it, or it will drive me crazy. I love the smooth feeling. Gotta have that feeling!

Oh I know the feeling Brother. It's a good one.
I never was able to perfect the shave with a blade without cutting myself. Grrrrrr!

I love my HEADBLADE. I tried the normal razor and ended up butchering myself. i've been using my HEADBLADE for the last 6months and will never use something else. And i use all the HEADBLADE products. Aaron i'm glad your routine works for you
