I thought I would give everyone an update on the AA progress....
Since I stopped using the clobetasol cream...my hair has started to grow back. I started out with 16 patches...and am now left with 2 - one of which is very small on the back of my head, and the other is the very first patch that started. It grew to a lovely 4 inches...and is now about the size of a canadian nickel. I have had complete hair regrowth in all other patches. I have hair growing in the last two patches - some of which is still the white fuzz. It is regrowing from the outside in. I have coloured my hair once...and plan on doing it again to blend in the white strays I have left.
I had bought a wig at the beginning of everything - but only wore it about 5 times. I stuck with a bandana, which I have now retired...I have enough hair that I can now pull off having a very short hair cut. I tried being creative to cover the last of the big patch...and have come up with using dark brown eye shadow...lol...I know it sounds silly - but it actually works!! While I'm excited to see an almost full head of hair...I'm still skeptical that it will stay. Trust will need to be built again. I still check my head often to see if anything is falling out - I see a few hairs now and then come out...but I have to keep in mind that we naturally lose about 100 hairs a day...I don't ever see that many anymore.
