Theres hope! ahhhh! :))
A while ago my dad told me that a guys daughter that he works with had alopecia and she grew out of it completely by the time she was 18 :) I figured i would put this up and tell people this so they would have hope that it can go away. :) When my hair falls out it comes in spells and lasts for a couple of months and each time it falls out it less and less hair falls out each time. :D Is anyone elses hair doing the same thing as mine??

That would be nice. I hope so. My hair has worsened over time. gr! What kind of alopecia do you have? Areata, telogen effluvium? I have diffuse and androgentic alopecia. It's the pits.

I also grew out of mine also...until I had my kids! I lost almost every bit now, and my lashes and eyebrows all after I had my kids, at 26 years old! Hormones, I guess!? good luck!

hi! i have alopecia areataa!! and well, i'm doing the same way that you doo0o! i stared when i was 5, and 3 year agoo0 i almost lost my hole hair, it's been a a year since this problem stared again, and well, i don't know if i'm getting worse or better, i have a lot of regrowht but my hair s is still falling, and every time i have more bold spots, but they are really smalle, and my hair starts to regrowhst almos immediately, so i really don't know what is goning on... =S, sometines my hair stops falling, but others days a lot of hair falls down, i'm doning a lot of things, i taking some pils, a lotion, acumpuntura, a shampoo. i don't loose my hope, i get it back once soo0 i can get it back again!
