Not sure if anyone else has been through this. You only have very sparce hair but you try to hang on to the little bit you are still sporting on your head. After loosing 95% of my hair in just 11 weeks I am now growing new hair all over my head but I still am clinging to the very few long bits I have. Why is that ? you know it look awful but you just keep hanging on to it, what the hair fairy is going to come while your alseep an put it all back LOL I don't think so some how so why do I keep putting off shaving the rest and starting again.I guess it's deniel that it's even happened. I am lucky that I have regrowth so quickly I think I need a little kick up the Butt from you guys to get rid of the ugly strangly bits. So tell me if you went through the same thing.

Thanks I will start with a trim and maybe as I get a bit more length I will shave it all Thanks that is why I am convinced it was the medication I was put on that caused the hair loss.

I agree with wise1 it's def a personal decision. Although I was at a point were I really wanted to shave my hair, but my husband was not so thrilled about it. So we both made a deal that I wouldnt for 3 months (he's been extremely)supportive! Even going to therapy with me to try and get a grasp of what it's like for me. I have to say, even tho I have hardly anything left, it is comforting going out with a baseball cap and having some hair stick out the back! Luckily, like you, I opted to just have a trim and it did make it look much fuller:) I felt extremely uncomfortable going to the salon, so I called the owner, explained my situation and he offered to meet me at the salon at 7-7:30 am...before anyone else got there! I know that we ourselves notice it, so much more than others! And the reason i say that is because my girlfriend has ALL her hair and when in a ponytail it's as thick as mine (crazy) with mine being...minus 75%! Also mine is starting to grow back! I'm curious though...if you don't mind me asking...what medication were you on? I have seen doctor after doctor and finally just recently, I've got the most info ever! Keeping my fingers crossed:)wishing you the best of luck, I know how tough it is!

Yes it was the same I felt better with a little sticking out the back but I ended up with only about 5% of my hair left so with alot of thought I made the decision to shave it due to the regrowth that I have makes it easy to see.It was a blood pressure med called Nordip also Known as Amlodpine or Besylate.
You will know when or weather to shave your head if at all.Good luck with your hair.
