As much as I cried and as angry as I was over the lost of my eyebrows what I truly miss is my eye lashes. Who would have thought those tiny little hairs made such a big difference.

My daughter felt the same way. She said if she could just get her brows and lashes back it would be so much easier.

My nose hair and my eyelashes are on the same level... I get so much stuff in my eyes and i have a faucet for a nose! i literally have a runny nose all the time. sometimes if i turn my head too quick i will get a stream of snot fall out, how disgusting lol

Our facial features change completely when we are hairless, and we must get used to it. It was very hard to me to recognize myself in the mirror without eyebrows and lashes, but semi permanent make up helped me very much. If I have to choose between a head full of hair, or lashes and eyebrows, I´m sure I´ll choose lashes and eyebrows. But life goes on, and we have to enjoy it with or without hair.

My eye lashes come and go, so I understand. I never wear much make up but mascara only makes you look good. For my cousins wedding I bought eyelashes at Target. They were a good price and the glue didn't bother me. I would wear them everyday but for those days you want to look foxy try them out! Also, I draw my eyebrows on everyday, but for the wedding my sister bought me fake hairy eyebrows. They were fun to wear forth day because they looked great in pictures. They were under $50 and one pair will last for ever but once again nothing I would wear everyday but for those special events they were fun!

Erika, my nose is always running too. I never connected it to the fact that I do not have nose hairs

Deana, you make a a good point I'm going to start playing around with fake lashes and look into the hairy eyebrows so that I will know what to do for special occasions

I know you're sad about your eyelashes, but when I look at you I see beautiful almond shaped eyes & a gorgeous smile. My problem is that hair keeps growing where I don't want it. As an alopecian I think having to pay for laser hair removal on my face of all places is a cruel irony. When I was younger I remember praying for hair, but I guess I should have been more specific =) Remember to keep smiling & moving forward.

Also Sephora sells an eye brow arch kit but for us ladies with out brows it offers 3 stencils to use instead of using the stencils to shape brows, I use it to create the arch and brow shape I like when drawing them on

Thanks Anastasia. Deana DG I tried the Sephora arch kit but then switched to drawing my brows myself which turned out better because people were always asking where I got my eyebrows done. No one ever asked me that when I used the kit. :-)
