Living with Alopecia for over 15 years now I can read my patterns to some degree. I know my hairloss this time is going to be extremely bad, probably the worst its ever been. But, I don't know if I'm going to lose all my hair. I've read that areata can lead to totalis or universalis, so there is always that fear in my head. Is this it? Will it all fall out this time? Currently, nobody can tell that I have bald spots yet.
Since my hairloss is progressing at a really fast rate and the spots are massive, I'm looking into buying a wig or topper. I'm going to keep my budget at around $500 for the first one. I know they can be a lot more expensive. It would be nice to get some pointers ie...brands, locations, types. I have no clue where to start!
Anyway, I'm still new to this site and have not made any friends yet...so if you're reading this, please give me some tips!
