Oh Tracey, you're from Canton! I always am happy to find someone so local that is dealing with "hair issues". I live in West Hartford. My alopecia is different from yours but hair loss all the same, I have cicatricial alopecia. I found out last year. That;s enough about that though! Lately I've found it easy to focus on happier stuff, I'm getting married this fall and am currently planning my wedding! :) I just hope my hair sticks around long enough so that I don't feel terribly insecure on my wedding day. Anyway, good to meet you! I'm here if you need me!
Tracey...you are very prety...I´m from Argentina..I´m scared to become hairlesss...I want to know if you dont have any hair to wear a freedom wig...Is it comfortable?
Hi, welcome to a great place to meet new and understanding friends. I am new also and have been helped so much by these wonderful folks. I hope you will also find it a great place.
Hi Tracey, I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to Alopecia World. I have been living with Alopecia Areata since 1991 and know full well the struggle it can be. I look forward to getting to know you. Cheryl, Co-founder
Hello and welcome, Tracey!
I know how hard it can be. I have had alopecia for about 30 years. After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" It might make you feel better. Check it out on my page -- and let me know how else I can help.
