Sorry you were sick but at least you are better now.
I worked all weekend darnit but I am off till thursday.
I cant believe you are finished with your Christmas shopping. I havent even started. Actually I am at a loss as to what to get Leo. We have so much stuff there isn't room for anything else. lol
I happy to hear you had a great day.
We are still having our fall weather here in San Francisco. I've lived here 20 years now. I am originally from Los Angeles.
I have experienced snow but not for long periods of time. A weeks time at tops. Just bundled up with ear muffs, gloves, scarves, caps etc...then go out to brace the elements and then would go back indoors and take it all off and sit by the fire with a hot totty.
Leo's groups have done a few gigs most recently a CD release party at the W Hotel. It was awesome.
Are you working with Carol for the Canadian Organization?
Happy Birthday!!!
What exactly is a brown birthday?
As a respiratory therapist my duties are primarilly cardiopulmonary. Everything from therapeutic inhalation treatments to Life Support Management. I also do Stress Testing and Pulmonary Function Testing. The gold standard for a diagnosis of asthma is spirometry testing, takes about 30 minutes.
Leo is a Music Producer. He has two bands. You can check them out on itunes LFB and Outer Sunset. LFB is Down-Tempo House and Outer Sunset is Dance. He also does a wide variety of other music industry work.
I would be intrested in hearing more about the Canadian Confrence. Do you have info to share?
Yikes, snow allready?
It's official, Obama is President so I wont be packing up for Canada just yet. Nothing personal I love Canadians.
In fact Leo and I were married the 1st time in Vancouver BC in 2006 and then again here in California this year (same date)
I am a Respiratory Therapist and Leo is a Sound Engineer. Life in San Francisco is great. I have lived here 20 years now.
What do you do?
I have had alopecia just over a year went from a full head of hair to nothing in a couple months. I'm all good with it though. I went to my 1st NAAF Conf this year and realized this whole thing is real and that I am not alone.
thank you, Solange! I'm in a suburb 28 miles outside of Chicago, IL. Are you a midwesterner too? I love this blue wig! I actually have a green one too that I'm planning on wearing for this kids' filmmaking camp I'm teaching next week. The kids are going to go craaaaazy I think! It's reasons like this that I am glad I have a green wig. ;)
Hi Solange! Thanks for the message. Everyday is getting easier and easier. I still wear a hat at work (mostly though because I am too lazy to shave off the patches everyday!) but I have been going out in public without a hat here and there. It's getting easier and people who I know are accepting of it.
I lived in Regina for 5 years where I anchored the news on CKRM, The Wolf and Lite 92 for 3 years before moving to Newstalk 980 and Z99 for a couple years where I was the city hall reporter. I took a promotion to management and transfer from there in 2005 and now live in The Battlefords (working for the same company -- Rawlco Radio).
I have searched for alopecia support groups in the province and haven't had any luck. Do you know of any?

Hi Solange,
Actually, I have two kitty cats. One is Brando (after Marlon), and one is Zsa Zsa. Zsa is new, and Brando doesn't appreciate her company very much.
Hugs, LeslieAnn
Hi Solange, his name is Gizzy, he is a 6yr old King Charles Spaniel. He loves chicken and will sit in front of the fridge every Sunday after we have had lunch until he gets a share. He needs a haircut but it's too cold at the moment, as soon as the weather warms up a bit I will shave him. I'll take a photo of him after his cut, he looks completely different then lol.
It is one thing to do something because you "think" it is needed and another thing to find out from tons of others that it is. We are truly grateful to everyone who has jumped on board and just started communicating and interacting with each other! It has been an amazing and emotional week watching this site grow.
