Thanks for the friendship add and the photo compliments. I'm just trying to adjust to this condition and this site has really helped me tremendously. I just have to gain the confidence and courage to go out in public without my wig. My fiance has been very supportive, he's the one that took the pictures (he's a photographer).
Hi Linda, welcome to alopeciaworld! We have similar symptoms, but I've had mine since I was about 9 yrs old. I shaved my head in 2008, but now it's growing in and I wear a lace front, they're okay, but I'm a "freebird" and may have to shave my head again so that I have no worries!
The problem is that people have become more rude as of late. I try to ignore people as much as i can and keep moving because in the end its not worth stressing myself over. Boy has it been hot lately thats why i usually wear scarves half of the time, i have a wig but i dont wear it much, the good thing is that i like it and that it was on sale woohoo lol anyway have a great say and hope to speak agian :o)
Welcome to AW! I love your pics and the hair looks natural. i just started the whole wig eperience and yes it is a challenge, i most of the time wear scarves. Dont you hate it when people play 20 questions about your hair? grrr anyway hope all is well on your end and have a great week :o)
