- Had a bad reaction to a hair hi-light was told I have telegon efflvium, but I have so much hair loss and it has been going on for 5 months and now you can see my scalp. 38 years old, with two children and husband. Very depressed and I also cannot deal with the shedding as I cry everytime I take a shower. I have a hard time keeping it pulled back because I think I have burning scalp syndrome on top of all of this. Getting ready to look at wigs but do not know where to start. Very depressed and confused as one hi-light at a salon has caused so much stress and depression.

I know how hard losing your hair can be; I have had universalis (NO hair) for about 30 years. Let me know if you need help or support. One thing that you might be interested in is my book, written for women, called "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" (It just won two national awards!)
