Sorry for the late response!! I did my student teaching already- 1st and 6th grade. I always thought I wanted Kindergarten, and was nervous to teach 6th grade, but 6th grade pleasantly surprised me. I really loved it. I would actually be happy with any grade K-6. I adore kids and take such pride when I see that "lightbulb" turn on. I am moving to Texas this month and am really hoping to get a job for the next school year. Do you have any advice for this beginning teacher? :-)
By the way- that is so wonderful that your daughter is going to grow her hair out for you. Beautiful. How awesome that you would have your daughter's hair.

Hey! Thanks for the message! Does your daughter have AA too? I am worried about passing it on to my future children. That's great that you are a teacher too! I actually am just beginning. I can't wait to have my own classroom. How long have you been teaching?
