About Me
Hi I am Coleen and I am married with two great kids, I have had alopecia univeralis, for about 1 1/2 years now, do not have any family history of it, just had my hair start falling out, then within 2 months didn't have a single hair on my body. I enjoy sports, I am a avid runner, I have done 3 marathons and a few 1/2 marathons. I like to workout. My daughter is in college and my son is a senior in high school.

Hi coleen. Thanks for writing. I'm turning 50!in Aug. I run 3-4 miles 5-6x week. Mainly indoors believe it or not. Fell a couple times in the dark and on ice. Separated my shoulder. Now Have achey knee and a hip issue.I've done a 1/2 Marathon. I'm done with races for the time being. I work f/ t. Play tennis on a team in summer. My body is telling me to cut back on running .
My daughter is strong.she focuses on school more than anything. I am very proud of her.she has a genuine core of friends and life goes on. Haven't quite gotten the perfect hair yet but working on it.
Thanks for writing. I'll take all the support I can get. :)

Hi Coleen. The friend request was sent prematurely. My 16yo daughter has au. I have a freshman in college. I'm a runner . workout religiously. Thought we have a lot in common.live in upstate ny. Hi :)
