Hi Debbie,
Sorry it took me a while to answer, I have not been on the site for a while. We live in Orange. My daughter has had Alopecia since she was 11. It started towards the end of 5th grade and within about 6 months progressed to AU. She is now 14 and is in 8th grade. Please let me know if there are any questions I can answer for you. I know that it is a difficult thing to deal with as a teen.

Hi Debbie,

Welcome to Alopecia World.
I hope your daughter is doing okay with all this.

Have you heard of NAAF? www.naaf.org
There is an annual conference I encourage everyone with alopecia to attend. It will change your life!

Be well and good luck!

Jeffrey
