I remember when we first saw that quarter sized bald spot on my 5 year old daughter's head. I was terrified and determined to make sure I found a way to stop the inevitable. Trust me we tried everything, thinking the solution was one experimental treatment away. Finally my daughter said she was done with the painful injections, irritating treatments and crazy diets. Thank you so much for your comment. It`s an inspiration to see how young girls cope with this diagnosis. Maybe much better than the parents. I just hope people treat her ok in the future. Do you have any advice on how to answer people who ask? I want to be open about it, but what if she wants to be private about it when she gets older? The everybody knows...I dont want her to wear a wig before she wants it her self..She is so beautiful your daughter!! Such an inspiration!
