I do not suffer from alopecia. I shaved my hair for the cancer children for Locksoflove. It was a great cause. I think bald is beautiful on women and that true beauty is within. My fiance and I are soldiers in the army. He is currently in Afghanistan until April 2010.
I am here because I believe in fighting against diseases like this as well as cancer. I think it isn't right for a disease to force a woman to go bald. I also don't believe that a woman shouldn't be shame of her baldness as well. There is nothing wrong with accepting yourself for who you are. Just because you suffer from hair loss doesn't mean you are not beautiful. I think bald women by choice or by disease are beautiful to me.
I'm glad to be here and be part of a positive movement. Now let's go get them!
