Hi Lisa My daughter Nova is now 8. I told her that I recently learned of another girl with Alopecia who lives in Nashville. Let me know if you would be interested in talking or introducing the girls. Best, Shannon.

Let me know if you find anything that works for your daughter wig wise. What are you doing about school? My daughter has rapidly been losing her hair over the last month, but so much over the past few days that she can't go to school w/out something in her hair. SHe just started middle school and I was told by one of the other moms that thier daughter asked if my daughter has cancer :( How awful! We need to get somethign soon but something that won't "stand out". It's so hard to see your child go through this!!

Hi Lisa,
We live just south of Chattanooga. My granddaughter is also 10. We met a small group of kids in Atlanta in the spring and had a great time; Parents sharing ideas and kids playing. I'm willing to meet somewhere if we arent too far apart. We go through Nashville when we go to visit our family in St Louis. We will be coming that way the last weekend of this month. I know its short notice and we would only be able to have a short visit but we can try to make it work if you can. We met at a park in Atl so the kids could play while the parents were able to talk more freely. Dont know that much about Nashville. We always just pass right by on the interstate. Of course I'd have to talk it over with my husband to make sure we would even have time. If not, we make a few trips a year out that way. Open to ideas.
