You can just show up. It's from 10:30-noon on Nov 13th after the support groups are finished at noon there is going to be a vendor showcase where you can see different accessories that benefit those with Alopecia.
This will be my first support group and first time meeting other individuals with Alopecia.
Im extremely excited :)
Hi Marie, I know this condition takes a LOT of adjusting and it is very hard to accept. But give yourself some time. I know that NAAF has been funding research and you can find out more on their findings on their website here.
Yes, I went through all sorts of stuff to see if it was something else or something I could do, but there just wasn't. I tried everything! So,
I know how hard it can be. Have you heard about my book? It might help you! After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" It might make you feel better. Check it out on my page -- and let me know how else I can help.

Welcome to Alopecia World Marie! I have had alopecia for 30 years and I'm from Guelph which is west of Toronto. If you ever need to chat, I'm usually around. :)
