Hello Melissa, my name is Maria and my daughters name is Savanna she is 6yrs old and she also has alopecia, she actually has Alopecia Universail, she has lost all hair on her head and body, she was 3yrs old when she was diagnoised with this condition and has been living with it ever since....I am glad you found this site, it is a wonderful site with many wonderful and supportive mothers on here, I have learned alot and been given so much advice on treatments and hairpieces as well, I personally dont treat savanna AU, I have learned to embrace it, even though at times it is extremely hard...If you have any question or would just like to talk then just comment back...hope you find support for you and your daughter...ttyl
