I'm bald! And I'm proud of it! I don't do wigs, I shave my head when my hair grows back to avoid the appearance of a Chi Pet gone bad. I have Alopecia Universalis. Lost all of it 9 years ago. I do have 6 leg hairs and my eye brows and lashed grew back.
I love life, love to laugh..try to take each day as it presents itself. It's all a gift, and to return it would be an insult. Plus, I lost the receipt...

Hi Sarahjane, your dad sounds like a hoot! Yes I am lucky that I don't have cancer. I, like you, have otherissues that I'm feeling with but I am happy for every day! To be honest my head got so hot when I had hair I kept it cut very short so it feels better to be bald. I'll get to the point where I don't care what people think. I'm not there yet. I don't like people staring at me. I like this group because I know I'm not alone. Take care!
