Hi All, Well I was AA for about 18months - lots of small patches that I managed to cover up. Hair regrew as new patches appeared & Ijust about managed to cope with it & cover up. But the last 2 months have been a rapid progression to almost AU- not much scalp hair left & now wondering if AT is the next step as arm hairs appear considerably thinner & 1 eyebrow is shrinking in size. Have now had to look at alternatives such as wigs - so just starting down that road. Looking forward to meeting & speaking with fellow members & sharing experiences & helping each other keep positive & finding ways to cope.

Hi Sharon,
It can be hard, can't it? I have had alopecia for about 30 years. After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" It might make you feel better. Check it out on my page -- and let me know how else I can help.
